Our Fabulous ’14 series pays tribute to the Rabbitohs 2014 premiership winning season. Today we feature Souths star hooker Issac Luke.

Issac Luke made 18 appearances for the Rabbitohs in 2014 & kicked 5 goals. Issac played a total of 188 games for Souths, scoring 36 tries but 2014 was the only one of his 9 seasons at Redfern that he didn’t score a single try. We can’t confirm whether or not he did a nudie run on the teams Mad Monday.

Issac Luke missed the Grand Final after he was suspended for a lifting tackle on Sonny Bill Williams in the 38th minute of the Rabbitohs 32-22 prelim final win over the Roosters.

Issac Luke found guilty at NRL judiciary and will miss 2014 grand final
The loss of Issac became the story of Grand Final week after the Bulldogs were also missing their star hooker Michael Ennis with a fractured foot.
Apisai Koroisau played well at hooker in place of Issac in the grand final. Apisai ran for 87 metres & made 29 tackles with no misses. Moses Mbye replaced Ennis & ran for just 28 metres & missed 2 tackles.

After the historic Grand Final win Souths coach Michael Maquire gave Issac his ring & Russell Crowe presented Isaac with a ring he had specially made.
