International Beer Day 2022

Today is International Beer Day 2022 and we have to admit that like most Aussies, we do enjoy a beer or 2 here on Rabbitohs Fan TV.

International Beer Day (IBD) is a celebration on the first Friday of every August founded in 2007 in California by Jesse Avshalomov.

Since its inception, International Beer Day has grown from a small localized event in the western United States into a worldwide celebration spanning 207 cities, 80 countries and 6 continents.

Specifically, International Beer Day has three declared purposes:

  1. To gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer.
  2. To celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer.
  3. To unite the world under the banner of beer, by celebrating the beers of all nations together on a single day. (Wikipedia)

We are proudly supported by The Juniors Group of Clubs (Kingsford, Maroubra & Malabar) and can think of no better place to get together with friends for a few beers.

The Henry Morris Legends Lounge Sports Bar at the Juniors Kingsford is the perfect place to watch the Rabbitohs away games and enjoy a variety of premium bottled and tap beers.

Alcohol free beers are also an increasingly popular option for non drinkers. The Carlton Zero is an example of a tasty option that allows you to wake up extremely fresh the next day.

The Rabbitohs are supported by Young Henrys and while we have no association with that brand we can say that Young Henrys Newtowner Pale Ale is a fantastic choice for craft beer connoisseurs.
